I haven't got a Woolworths card anymore, last I remember was YEARS ago paying off the account and cutting up the card. I never cancelled though, but now out of the blue started receiving sms's saying I owe. Never received an account or anything so this is just strange. I know they never reply, but I will prob never pay either without seeing where the money was accrued. If it is just account accrual fees they can go stuff themselves. Anything to make a buck and the little guy, hey, Woolworths? And pretty much every company out there, ah well.
Just found it weird. Happened to my parent with Edgars when their account was up to date but a "system upgrade" reset their status to the year before, and so the harassing phone calls began, because "If its in the computer it HAS to be true" hah! what a load of bull, being a computer techie I know.
