On 30 April 2013 we settled 2 of our accounts at Hifi Corporation. For the next 2 months they continued to debit those accounts. I had to reverse the debit orders, after which I received numerous sms's as well as phone calls to pay my accounts. I had top go back to Hifi Corp twice to show them prove of payment of the settled account.
That actually didn't bother me that much.
We want to apply for a home loan and went to ABSA today to see what we qualify for. Because of the complete incompetence of HIFI Corp, I do not qualify for a 100% loan, as my credit record shows that I "didn't pay" my installments at HIFI Corp.
