I had to obtain my mother's death certificate in a hurry and could not wait the 8 months which the department of home affairs quoted. I contacted Gawie, the owner and was very impressed with his friendliness and willingness to change his terms of delivery. I then discovered I had to get my daughter's birth certificate and contacted Gawie again. He gave me a preferential rate for the two certificates.
