Lack of Training at the Pay Points

I spent about 40 minutes shopping & when I got to the tills to pay, my absa credit card was declined. The teller tells me it's declined. I think he thought I worked at some bank as he assumed I would know why it was declined & when I asked him why, he looked at me confused. I told him this is not the first time this has happened in your store but if you try another machine it may work. I also showed him it has happened at the woodmead store where it declined the 1st time & went through the 2nd time as I had the receipt from another purchase. He still looked confused & started looking around. He then told me the machine next to him, doesn't work properly as well. I am not sure how this was my concern as all I wanted to do was pay & leave. He still tries with the machine he just told me was problematic & now the transaction did not even want to go through. The machine kept on saying connecting to the pad, then disconnecting & reconnecting. The slip read call for authorization & had an error code 91. The guy tells me it's declined. I told him no it doesn't say that. He calls another teller and she tells me the card is not going through & I must call my bank.
