I recently received a statement from exact and I do not have an account with them. I called them immediatly after opening the mail from them informing the consultant that i do not have an account with them and that i had received a statment from them stating that I owe them. She continued to ask for my personal information ie my address, contact numbers including my work telephone number, I gave her all the informaton that she asked me for she informed me that there department was closed at the time when i called and she gave me there number. Following day I called transunion to get my credit report so that i could check if there maybe any other accounts that have been open on my name i informed them about the issue i had with exact and they requested that i get an affidavit stating that the account was open and copy of my ID and other thing and they advised that they would investigate and inform exact of issue. Thing that annoys me is that after i called exact the girl i spoke to captured my information and now they are calling me after i called them to inform them that I didn't open an account with them. Why haven't they made a note that i reported this issue.
