On Sunday the 13th of January I went to Pick n Pay Waterglen, I arrived at the store at 19:20 just to find the doors closed. Me along with other consumers wanted to know why are the doors closed if they have clear trading hours on the door. After insisting for the manager the remaining consumers and I where allowed in. I got my bread and milk that I needed and when I wanted to pay I was informed by the till I am not allowed to pay with my RCS card because their call centre does not operate on weekends. I called RCS myself and they do operate weekend but they do close at 18:00 on Sundays. I have never had a problem using my RCS Card at another PnP so if it is compulsary for consumers to not only have proof of identification but also that you should purchase before the RCS call centres close then a clear sign should be put up. As a result of this I am refusing to continue to support this branch. Dont put up signs to say this is our trading hours but you want to close doors before that and I feel the PnP group should have a standard rule regarding RCS purchases.
