BAD SERVICE FROM EDGARS N1 CITY

I heard about the sale on duvet inners on TV and decided to purchase a duck down inner from Edgars Bayside. Unfortunately it was the wrong size so I went to exchange it for a smaller size. Edgars Bayside did not have any stock left, but said they would source one for me, which they did. Edgars N1 city had the size I required. They asked if I would fetch it myself or wait 2 weeks for delivery to the Bayside branch. I opted to wait for the 2 weeks, but then decided to drive to N1 city myself to fetch it, rather than wait. I phoned the N1 City branch to tell them I was coming to collect it. Upon arrival they exchanged the inner, but told me I now had to pay the full price for the item, R 400 more! I really cannot understand why? I called the manager and explained the situation, showed her my slip and sms confirmation I had received from Edgars Bayside. But still they would not budge. I find this completely unacceptable! I now have to wait for 2 weeks untill Edgars Bayside phones me to fetch the inner. What about my complete waste of time and petrol? Their attitude was really bad, and they made no effort to assist me! I am really dissapointed in Edgars N1 City.
