So, I was browsing Cotton On the other day. I love their clothes so I always pop in to see whats new, I have found their customer service to be quite pathetic. There were so many employees on the floor, but not one would ask if you needed help, or even greet you. If you did need help, the employees would be deep in conversation totally oblivious to the customers... Upon arriving at the pay-point, cashiers were slow, and didn't even smile or greet, like they're zombies that have been working for months straight.
Now, I felt this deserves a complaint because it definitely wasn't the first time, but has happened all times I have been there. Also, I have worked in retail myself so I know how it feels to be tired and worn out, I also know you do get difficult customers often who do put you on a bad mood; BUT we were trained to handle such situations, and ALWAYS smile and treat each customer fairly no matter what. It's like they help who they think needs help, and choose that based on how the person looks. To get to the point, their overall customer service needs drastic improvement, I don't know how those people were hired.
