Not willing to refund money for damaged goods

I purchased a Kodak camera in May as a present. This was delivered and stopped working in November. This is the second camera I have purchased from Kalahari that was defective. When I phoned the customer care line I requested a refund not a replacement product as this is the second time an item had to be replaced. The camera was sent back and I have been calling every couple of weeks since to find out what the progress is. At no time during these calls was I ever told that a refund would not be possible and I have an email sent from Kalahari to the retuns department requesting a refund in November. The camera was replaced and the replacement sent to me on the 16th of January, I called Kalahari and requested a stop put on the delivery as I had specifically requested a refund the call centre agent put a stop to the package. Today the camera arrived and when I called the call centre I was told that I can't get a refund as it's not in your policy.

This is shocking service. We have replaced the camera with a new one as I have never been told that a refund is not possible and now I have a duplicate camera that is of no use to me and am out of pocket thanks to your call centre.
