Went to furniture city southgate in December to purchase some goods. Amongst these good was suppose to be a server which never arrived, Instead i landed up with 2 coffee tables. The sales consultant, Thami, appologised and said they had accidently captured the incorrect code hence the 2 tables. For them now to fix the error would mean 1 of 3 things, Genera, the store manager advised that i eigther take the surver and bring back the table and then pay the difference of R2000 cash, 2nd option was that they reverse the whole transaction and do an application from scratch meaning i would have to apply all over again resulting in new bank statements, payslips etc. 3rd option was that i bring the table back to the shop (myslef) and they sell it for me and give me the R3000.00 and thats the option i took. The table is now sold to another customer and Gerald is refusing to give me my R3000 saying the transaction is after he had agreed. So technically speaking they sold the same table twice to two different customers. I am paying for this table and its in my contract. How on earth can this be? if there was any in this transaction its what Gerald is now doing to us...
