Woolworths horrible service

4 weeks ago I lost my Woolworths gift card which had about R2000 and reported it at the shop. At Woolworths Southgate I was told that there's nothing they can do to help me if the card is lost. Then I went to The Glen Mall and was told the same thing initially, then another lady logged a call and told me to bring a copy of my ID and an affidavit confirming that I lost this card. I did that 5 days later and was told that the call that had been logged was closed even though the issue was not resolved. The lady (Mpho) forwarded my documents and promised that she will contact me personally within 3 days and there is no real need to follow up.
4 weeks has passed now and I am still waiting for my feedback. I needed to use the gift card to buy winter clothes for work as I do not have them. This is real nonsense as they link the gift card to my ID but they cant use my ID to search for the card and reissue another one. This is real seeing that Woolworths is a very big company and I though investing my R2000 with them would be an investment but it proved to be a loss. I will never buy there ever again and I will ensure my family and friends stop buying there as well.
