Baby Monitor Replacement

My wife recently purchased a baby monitor from your Pavilion store. It lasted around 10 days before breaking and rendering it useless.

Being only 10 days old my wife returned it to your Pavilion store where she was told that they wouldn't swap it out (despite breaking in just over 1 week) and that it would need to be sent to the supplier for repairs. Apparently this would take around 3 weeks.

She was then told that they don't have any loan units so she would be without a baby monitor for close to a month.

The manager was relentless and not at all sympathetic to a first time concerned parent. My wife eventually left the store in tears thanks to the managers behavior and handling of the situation.

Surely the manager of a Baby City should understand the feelings first time mothers go through and try to be sympathetic of this?

We eventually got a loan unit but it does not work in our house as it keeps losing signal.

It's been 2 weeks and despite numerous phone calls we've had no feedback on our original unit. So we're now without a monitor despite having bought one and we've had to move back into our daughters room.

This is simply unacceptable customer service.
