On 15th May 2013 due to a missing tile in the middle of the aisle with no warnings up I miss stepped on the ridge of the existing tile and fell sustaining a few quite severe injuries. i.e broken ankle, lacerated lip and nose, loose front tooth and bruising to my chest. I requested reimbursement of my medical costs only, which is only fair as I would not have needed this service had it not being for negligence I completed all the documents I was asked to and handed them in, I received a brief e-mail response from the regional manager that the insurers would be looking into the matter.
3 weeks later I had to contact by e-mail again only to find out that the insurers are STILL looking into it! I was told that he would follow up and get back to me the next day. 19 June This did not happen and only on the27 June did I receive an e-mail again to say that they (insurers) are STILL looking into the matter. My complaint is this the response and feedback on such an important issue is shocking. I have tried to solve this amicably and only requested genuine medical costs to be reimbursed. But obviously I will have to lay a charge of negligent injury in order to get any response or feedback.
