We purchased tiles from Tile Africa last year and was installed by my tiler. Months later the client called me and said that the tiles are hollow, we inspected the premises we could hear the same problem! we then asked representatives from Tile Africa to come to the site for inspection, they came to the conclusion that the problem was not the tile cement nor the product. We told them that the tiles are curved and that this is the cause of the problem, this couldn't be picked up when laying the tiles
I have since lifted all the tiles at my clients house and is in the process of relaying new tiles that was purchased at a different supplier as I advised the client not to purchase tiles from Tile Africa again.
I have three tiles in my possession that have unacceptable curvatures on them when you put them on a flat surface has a curvature of about 2mm, this is huge and unacceptable.
When i told this to Greg he said they sold over 140 000 square meters of this tile and they have legal grounds to stand on! (I have all the corresponding mail) Tile suppliers have problems with batches but they do not want to accept this! I want to be re reimbursed my money I spent there and also my labou
