I purchased some liquor from the said store, a bottle of Olof Berg brandy and 8 (eight) bottles of Jonkheer Marsala, these were on the shelf for R35.99. After paying I notice that I was charged R37.99 for the Marsala. I complained about this, then I was informed that they would sell it to me for R35.99. I then said that just a few weeks ago I saw them giving wrongly charged items for free to a customer. The attitude completely changed to one of irritation towards me! The manager was then called, Dudu, I believe was her name. She then said I will be refunded and 1 (one) bottle would be given to me at no cost, but I would have to pay for the others?? She then went ahead and said that it was company policy. Infact she said they had it in writing. Well, not in the store I was! She had to take me next door, to the actual Pick N Pay, and there hung a sign that she referred to! But might I mention that it was in this very same store, where THIS sign is hanging that I saw them refund and give 4 (four) pairs of slippers to a lady after she was wrongly charged!!! So why the exception with me?? HAVE YOUR ITEMS CORRECTLY PRICED PICK N PAY!!! AND, TREAT ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS THE SAME!!!
