NO RESPECT FOR CUSTOMER'S PRIVACY

Dear Sirs
I wish to report that while I was enjoying a day out with my 10 month old baby and my niece and nephew, we went to Woolworths to buy various items. I approached the cashier and commenced unpacking my trolley and greeted the cashier.
The cashier then asked me where I used to stay and I affirmed by stating where I used to reside with my parents prior to me getting married. She seemed sincere and I was under the impression that she was making friendly conversation. She then asked me blatantly whether the house was for sale and that she heard rumors that we need to sell the house, which left me with the impression that she knew exactly who I was and was trying to fish for information. I told her that my mother died and my father lives in the property and under no circumstances will the house be sold. The cashier had no respect for my privacy nor for the fact that my family is in mourning. I will not divilge her name on this report because I have respect for people but this is a matter that requires disciplinary action and I will furnsh the name of the cashier to the Woolworths representative who contacts me to clarify this matter.
