I have a Foschini Acc which I pay EVERY month ON TIME, always higher than the installment due. I've received many a letter complimenting me on the manner in which I conduct my account & several credit increases in a short space of time. At the end of Oct 12, I was away & had not received my statement. I made an eft of R500 on the 30/10 thinking that would cover my installment as the previous month was only R465. I received no call from Foschini advising me of any shortfall & it was only when I received my next statement that I realized I was R65 in arrears. I immediately corrected it. Foschini listed me as 30 on Transunion for Nov. (the definition of 30 on ITC is the amount of consecutive days the account is NOT paid). PETTY MUCH!? No one even had the common decency to inform me there was R65 short to give me an opportunity to rectify it. What's worse is, the very next month was Dec & low & behold if I didn't receive yet another glowing letter, informing me they were increasing my credit limit yet again for the impressive manner in which I conduct my account. Now I'm confused, rewarding me when I'm being penalized for 2 yrs on ITC for R65.? FOSCHINI REFUSE TO ASSIST ME!!!
