I've always loved Woolworths for their excellent service not only in quality and style, but the return policy. I think Woolworths and Pick 'n Pay is similar and it's a major selling point when shopping.

I never have time to go shopping, so I usually race through Woolworths, buy everything I need, try it on at home and return whatever doesn't fit or look good. Mostly I keep the items. I bought a list of things from Woolworths on the 1st of June. I've been working over time the entire month and travelling over weekends and was not able to return the two items I was not happy with: a jersey that has no buttons and a magic slimmer lingerie piece. When I bought it, the sales person had to fetch a tag for it since it was missing and I didn't inspect the item thoroughly. Once I got home I realised it wasn't in perfect condition and even though it's my exact size, looked terrible on (ironic since it's 'slimmer'). I went to return it yesterday and was attacked by 3 sales people that made a humiliating scene rolling their eyes and saying I can't return underwear. I kept asking them to remain calm and listen to my situation, but they rudely refused and I walked away crying.
