At the time of my retrenchment, my account premiums were paid up to date.
A month before I stopped working, on the same day that my ex-boss informed me I was going to be retrenched, I went to the store and gave them the relevant documentation.

I had heard nothing back with regards to the claim and went back to the store after my retrenchment and they had told me that they had never received my papers.

I had then gone back and taken them all the papers they needed plus an affidavit stating that I was still unemployed at the time of the statement.

I was in hospital for a few days, about 4 months after my retrenchment, during this time they had harassed my parents into making a payment on my behalf.

They have handed me over to debt collectors called VVM who call every day and threaten to blacklist me, even though I have checked my credit record and they have already done so.
