This is not the first time I'm receiving bad service from the cashiers at Newtown PicknPay. I went in to the store and made a purchase when I get to the till points I politely ask the cashiet to give me 2bags in English. She replies in what I think was Zulu or Sotho (notsure) Then I give her R100 as my goods totaled to R54.84 she then ask in Zulu or sotho if I have R5 which I reply no. She closes the till says she doesn't hav change and asks a supervisor. I say nothing and wait as she continues to help other customers, to my suprise the person she helps change is R30 some odd and when she opens the till I peek and see that she has R10 and R20 notes. I ask her why she makes me wait when clearly she has change. She gives me a dirty look and continues with another customer. It really makes me sick the way Newtown cashiers behave and this is not the only complaint. They need to shape up or shape out.
