The Cashiers/Packers at Checkers Boulevard in particular, have a very bad tendency to assume that every black african is Sotho/Tswana speaking.
We all know that English is a universal language, and we all know that we have people from all over Africa living in South Africa who do not necessarily understand Sotho. So the least you can do is to train the cashiers/packers to communicate with the customers in English or at least have the decency to ask the customers if they understand Sotho/Tswana as opposed to imposing Sotho to every black South African.
