I have been using Loot for years now and each time I order something the delivery time gets later and later, whether I have paid for courier or not - specified dates for ALL delivery options are blatantly false - sometimes taking 2 months to delivery when I have paid for courier delivery within 3 days!!! As stated on the website:
Next day courier - In main centres, this will reach you the next business day after we dispatch your order.
Standard courier - In main centres, this will reach you within two business days of dispatch.
Economy courier - In main centres, this will reach you within three business days of dispatch.
My last order (for father's day) was ordered on 4/6/13 and still I have heard nothing. They are even sneaky enough to include a notice on your confirmation mail: Latest expected dispatch date: 24 Jun 2013 if we receive payment today. 24 JUNE 2013 - THEN WHY DID I PAY TO HAVE IT COURIERED WITHIN 3 DAYS??? Surely I should be able to report them to The Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa for false advertising? This is unacceptable - all items were in stock when ordered and should have been dispatched and delivered within 3 days!!!
