Delivery 2 months & counting

My wife purchased a bedroom suite (cash) from furniture city Richards bay. This purchase was made on the 25th of March 2013. My wife was assured that the delivery would take place in 72 hours from purchase date. That was on the 25th of March 2013. Over the next 2 months we received the above mentioned suite in drips & drabs. As of today, 3rd of June 2013, the dressing table has still not been delivered, even though it is in the Richards bay branch for over 2 weeks. I telephoned Izel Jeyaprasad (manager of furniture city Richards bay) this afternoon, she informed me that furniture city is not responsible for delivery, the warehouse in Cato Ridge (Durban) is. The payment for delivery, made on date of purchase, was not made to the warehouse, it was made to furniture city Richards bay. Over the last few months, arrangements were made with my wife for delivery & arrangements were not met. Neither did anyone from the store or the warehouse have the decency to call & cancel. Izel Jevaprasad informed my wife this evening that Lizel Dreyer (warehouse) has made arrangements to deliver on Thursday (without making the arrangement with my wife). There are 52 Thursdays in a year.
