Two gripes with Dis-chem:
1.Dis-chem branded kiddies lotions Baby Things i believe (white bottle 900ml and pink smaller bottle). There seems to be some grainy/granular residue on the lotion. one cannot directly apply the lotion without having to pick through the grains of plastic or hardened lotion. This has been happening for a while now, i thought i could have been a faulty lot/batch. No so, as it is happening continuously.
2.Had surgery done in April so have been using Smith & Nephew Op-site plaster daily. Been buying from Dis-chem who never had the correct size in months, so i had to buy the smaller size and use 2 at a time paying approximately R20.30 each. Went in for a check up found the correct size dressing (larger than the one at Dis-chem) at the Olivedale hospital pharmacy for under R6.00 each. Surely you guys are adding a huge mark up if the generally more expensive hospital pharmacy can afford to sell at 4 times cheaper than a huge chain like Dis-chem? I spend thousands monthly on our toiletry and cosmetic needs at Dis-chem as we believe that we are getting good prices from this huge pharmacy chain but these appears not true.
