Pathetic service, broken GUESS watch!!!

I purchased a Guess watch on the 3/12/2012, I paid R995.00 for this watch. It was a gift fro my fiance. She has not even had the watch for three months and it has stopped working. I have spoken to numerous people and they all come with the same rubbish story which is totally unnacceptable. I was told that even though i bought this watch on my account they cannot replace it (after 3 mnths) because there is a 30 day warranty!!! on A GUESS WATCH! they then told me that I have to bring the warranty book, I got NO such book when the item was purchased, so now they tell me that I have to pay to have the watch fixed. Now this totally and utterly unnacceptable, this is a expensive luxury item, which should not stop working after three months, I dont even care if it is battery! three months!!! i want this watch replaced immediately. I expect a response from someone who can actually help me. Otherwise this matter will be escalated to someone who will resolve this. I am really upset that this is the service I receive from a store that I have supported for so long!
