On the 30th March 2013 I visited the Boardman's store in Centurion to change a Boardman's Iron purchased the previous year which just seized to work. As it was within the guarantee period I was told I can take another iron, as they never had the same model iron I took Model BS193 which was R50 more expensive.
I tried to do my ironing this morning - the iron refuses to switch on. I tried various plug points but it failed to come on. I cannot understand in less than 2 months this iron seizes to work. I can clearly see now that Boardman's products are not of value as one would expect. Details of my purchase: Iron model: BS193.. Serial number in receipt 210320130052500024009116... Time 11.54 .. Cashier Manikie Shoba. I am totally dissatisfied with the product and the inconvenience.
