I bought a Swatch from them about 3 months ago. It started losing time after 3 weeks. I took it back and was told it was the battery, which was replaced. About 2 weeks later it started losing time again, took it back and was told that they would supply a new watch. 2 weeks later the 'new' watch arrived. It also started losing time after a week. I took it back AGAIN and was told that it was the battery (what a surprise). The battery was supposedly replaced and once again it started losing time.By this stage I was fed up and insisted on a different style of SWATCH that was not in stock to ensure I would not get the same faulty watch back again. This duly arrived 2 weeks later which was 10 days ago.
This new watch however was cheaper than the original. I was told when I collected it that I would not get a refund because SWATCH were not refunding the jeweller. I found this explanation illogical. When I inquired about a credit note instead, I was told that I would be contacted about this possibility. 10 days later I am still waiting.
I have written off the amount out of sheer frustration dealing with these amateurs.
My advice - Don't waste your time. Go to Sandton City.
