On Sunday 18th May 2013, I went to buy my children some clothing on my account. When I wanted to have the goods charged onto my account. I was informed that my account was blocked and that I needed a proof of residence to have my account unblocked and needed a new card. My children was highly disappointed and I was embarrassed as I have to give back the clothing as I didnt have cash with me. I went to fetch my water & lights account and went to Edgars in SIlverton. In the meantime I contacted my parents who both also have Edgars accounts and asked if they knew or received any correpondence with this regards and replied no. I receive SMSes, emails and post with regards to special but dont receive any correspondence in any kind with regards to FICA and for an account I had for more than 12 years. I got treated like a criminal and thug. The treatment I received ruined my day with my children and I had to explain to them why they weren't able to get clothes. I am a valued customer and should be treated as one as well.
