I had bought an HP laptop backpack in September 2012 which was coming loose on the shoulder strap. The person at the front desk refused to take bag back as he claimed this was wear and tear. My point was that it was a design flaw. Anyway, I asked to speak to the manager and Ruwandri, who handles exchanges explained that those defects are not covered. As I explained my view, she listened, understood and took the risk of replacing the bag on her account. Also, Ignatius had offered me a R200 discount on the bag as I had purchased over R13000 worth of goods in September 2012. He honoured the R200 discount on the replacement. If that is not going the extra mile - what is? The team at Vaal Mall have mine and my companies business all the way!!
