Recently shopping at Somerset Mall, I queried a discount with the cashier, who called Gary from their management team.
Gary explained why I had not been allowed the discount; I said that my understanding of that particular discount had been different, but then paid for my goods at the full price.
I left the Food Section and was on the verge of leaving the store, when Gary found me to say that I had been correct, and the store owed me a refund, which he promptly arranged.
He could have just let the matter slide, as I had accepted his explanation and had paid the full price, but he went the extra mile to find me and then still process the discount.
Great attitude, super service!
