I recently went under debt review and was informed by my attorneys that all creditors were informed. However a Loan account taken with JDGroup went ahead with its debit order of R1456.00. On May 1st we went to the Russells branch that we took the loan with to ask for the debit order to be refunded. We handed in a bank statement and ID copy as they requested. The lady who assisted us, Nova Pillay, said that as it was a holiday she could only send the fax through to head office on the 2nd. Also she said the refund would take 7 -10 days. On the 4th I returned to the branch to inquire whether the form was sent, which she replied to the affirmative. On the 10th we did not receive the refund, when we called the head office they informed us that they did not receive any documents from Nova. When I went in to the branch again to inquire what the problem is, Nova realised that she did not make us sign a refund form on the 1st and she did not fax what she did have to the right number. I then was made to sign a form and she then told me she will fax it. and I will be refunded by Monday latest. Its is now Monday, she only sent the forms in today, and says I will be refunded in 7 days.
