I bought a big braaipack of chicken from Pick 'n Pay on a Saturday a few weeks ago. The Saturday evening when we opened the Chicken, it smelled off. Unfortunately we left early the Sunday morning to go fishing and i could not return it. The Monday when i went to return it i was told i can not return it due to the expiry date being past which was that Saturday. So even if i returned it on the Sunday they would not have accepted it. It was in Pick 'n Pay's packaging still, unfortunately i did not have my slip as i never thought i would have to return food to Pick 'n Pay as they claim freshness guaranteed. I think this utter nonsens and bad service!!!
