I bought Country Classic Boerewors from Pick 'n Pay on 16/01/2014.Cooked the wors on 17/01/2014 and while eating, I noticed a funny smell, then went to the packet to check the expiry date and it was written 20/01/2014.My husband then came home and I served the wors to him, first thing after having a bite of the wors he said 'this wors tastes off and it has a funny smell'.He stopped eating it. Some hours later, we started getting sick (diarrhea). Even the next morning we were still sick, so I took back the wors to the store where I bought it. I launched a complaint and I was told the head office will contact me on Monday, but no one has contact me. I trust and love Pick 'n Pay brand and never thought their food would be that bad. It was such an inconvinience for me to have to go buy dinner again for that night, drive back to Pick 'n Pay to return the wors, but above all it wasn't nice being sick. It's also sad that the expiry date on the packaging was incorrect.
