I bought Chicken at Constantia village. Two packets of Skinless and Boneless chicken breasts with 4 pieces in each. When I got home to cook dinner and both packets smelled awful. I could not return it as it would take me 3 days before I will be able to get to the shops again. I threw it away after taking a photo and emailing Pick and Pay using their online website. I still have not heard a word from them.
Plumstead; On Friday morning I bought chicken at the Plumstead branch (because I did not want to buy from Constantia again). I backed it with ice and took it with me to the west coast. When I open the chicken it had a rotting smell. The sell by date was not even close.
Both times it was a Pick and Pay brand. What is going with the quality of your meat. I have spend a lot of money on chicken which I had to throw away. A friend that come with to the holiday also bought meat from you, also Pick and Pay who threw hers away even before she packed it in her cooler bag for the weekend holiday. I will never buy meat from ANY pick and pay again. About a year ago I had food poisoning from YOUR off chicken. I'm sending out this notification to warm other buyers of meat.
