Three incidents in one week?
On Sunday 5 May I visited Irene Mall W/Worths and bought some goods. I submitted my C/Card for payment but could not retrieve a slip from the cashier. Her explanation was my goods are paid for as the balance due reflects as NIL.
Today 10 May I visited them again, made some more purchases (From Thabo), once again payment took place by C/Card, once again no slip, balance due NIL, but now I had to "Pay Again". I left the goods and walked out.
The cashier today admitted that they are aware of the, but still insisted that I had to pay again. Two similar situations, two different outcomes.
Yesterday my wife received a SMS & Call from MBDCS Attorneys for an amount OVERDUE on her W/Worths credit Card (Jul'10). My wife is/never was in possession of a W/Worths C/Card and after enquiries we learned she has to face SAPS for an affidavit stating that she has no C/Card from W/Worths. This is ludicrous, how can we entrust W/Worths with our details if their systems fails us. Has anybody recently faced a SAPS charge office, sorry this is not acceptable. We as consumers have rights and somebody at W/Worths should take ownership, as our precious store has gone BAD
