HARRASSMENT OVER PAID ACCOUNT

On Monday 13 Jan I paid at Woolworths in Edgemead I gave the Cashier my Woolworths Visa Card and my Cheque Card for payment and advised that I wanted to pay my Visa Card. The transaction was processed and I left. On Saturday 18 Jan at 15:27 I received a call stating that my payment was overdue. I duly explained to the lady that as USUAL staff have not been trained to LISTEN and the payment was probably processed to my store card - this was confirmed as such. She advised that it would be corrected and apologised for the "error". I was MOST annoyed when at 16:27 today I AGAIN get a call stating that my Visa Card is in arrears - to the degree that I actually put the phone down. I subsequently checked my accounts and notice that although the amount has been transferred out of my Store Card it still does not reflect on my Visa Card (so where IS the payment???)
This has not only happened to me but to my husband and sister as well - staff are not trained to LISTEN to what the Customer is saying resulting in mistakes like this. Instead of harassing PAYING customers - train your staff properly and you'll save your Company embarrassment. 3 words for you - CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT.
