WARNING: Obviously I cannot afford a legal team to fight Checkers "we will vigorously oppose any legal action instituted by you". But I can try save your pet. I purchased PULVEX Pour-On dog flea product & applied it on my cats (no cat product was available at the time). Many Products are interchangeable between dogs & cats, never in my wildest dreams did I think it would kill my cats. Only after applying it did I see a poorly placed warning "Do not use on cats". I looked for an insert for more details, there was none as they opt not to include it. Two vets I spoke to feel the warnings are not clear enough, visible enough or explicit enough. They feel a product this toxic should not be on the shelf. One had a case where PULVEX dog SHAMPOO killed a cat! If cats groom dogs, or rub against them & groom themselves it could be toxic. How toxic is it to my young kids? I take responsibility for my awful mistake; now it's time for the manufacturers & retailers to take responsibility for their part. There are products mild enough for cats and kills fleas on dogs. Why is it necessary to expose consumers to a product this toxic?
