Again today, around 11:00, I visited a cash crusaders branch, this time being Goodwood mall.
I saw a few items I was interrested in and enquired on 2x 1tb hdd (laptop sized drives)
The prices was R599 and R679 respectively. The salesperson was very friendly and arranged a R50 discount off each drive and as he communicated the discount to the cashier, she looked as if she wanted it and said one was sold this morning already and he couldn't sell it. He replied to her by reminding her they had 2. She insisted this unit at R599 was sold as well. Why would a person buy something and leave it at the store, and why leave an item on a shelf, with its price meaning it is for sale? I left the branch and left all the items I was gonna buy since this is bad service and unethical. Even if an item is laybyed, items are removed off shelves and if too big, they have a sold or laybye sticker. This was not the case here. It was clearly marked for sale.
Was this kept for a staff member, family member or friend? who knows... All I know is that this branch has lost its touch with the customers and common law within South Africa..
Seems there is internal problems within Cash Crusaders...
