August 2012, my wife and I was in the Honey Junction Pick n Pay doing some shopping, when 15 masked guys walked in and robbed the cashiers, customers including my wife and I. A gun was pointed at my wife, they took her watch. The next day I went back to give a statement, a person by the name of Dan from head office was there to help take statements, I explained to him that the watch was taken, he said no problem the store will reimburse us. I accepted and waited for this to be done. On numerous occasions I had gone back to the store to find out when will it be reimbursed or replaced. I get told by the manager/store owner I should claim from my insurance, I refused saying it will impact on my no claim bonus. Up til today, almost a year later, he is yet to get back to me. I literally spend R3500 per month over 8 year period at the store, yet they dont want to claim from their own insurance or just pay the value of which it is R 2500. We will never shop there ever again. Its ok to take my money and loyalty for over 8 years. Well i am spreading the news all over the Roodepoort area. Jimmy you keep saying you will get back to me, I am still waiting
