Product knowledge and lack of customer service

I went to shoprite checkers in roodepoort - 01/05/2013 where as a customer saw a product buy [URL Removed] that had a sticker saying R50 OFF ANY NETFLORIST PURCHASE REF: ykg846nf . i went to the cashiers by the name of Mbali that was very helpfull - and she couldnt and she called some guy buy the name of Sizwe who is apparently a Rep/Merchandiser - who insulted me telling me to use my common sense-the guy doesn't know what customer service is - i was referred to Charity Mmamakoko (manager) who also couldn't explain nor help me - all she did was to call a security guy to take of the sticker from the products - now i couldn't get the R50 off-like the product said i was maid wait for 30-45min without any productive help nor information. i paid for the stuff and left and when i get home i read the terms and conditions of the product only to find out the shoprite and netflorist have a product on their shelfs that has an expiry date of 31-December 2009 - now we being mis-led not only that i stood at shoprite for that long and no one helped - i would want someone to reimburse me my time and making me buy a product that is wrongly advertised -ref-0223 -terminal 008 .
