I get a call from Leon Peters from Tracker, telling me that the "alert" package I am on entitles me to a courtesy sms stating that my vehicle is on the move, and if I dont respond I get a courtesy phone call to tell me. However, for R427.18 a month, the "alert" tracking device does not actually enable Tracker to track the vehicle. I then get an email from Melissa Naidoo from Tracker, stating that it appears I am unhappy with the service, and as a gesture of goodwill will let me off the remaining 3 months of the contract. The fact that no one, including the underwriters at ABSA Insurance, can tell me why I have been getting ripped for a so called service that doesnt exist is the issue here. Who are the shareholders of Tracker? The insurance companies have to be involved to force the public into a subcription for a service that doesnt exist.
Melissa, I will post something on this website every five days until I get answers. I will start this against ABSA Insurance as well, as they are sticking their heads in the soil and avoiding the questions I am posing to them.
