When my boss traded in his car for another one, the sales didn't ask whether he'd installed the unit or not. N my boss had forgotten about it. We only realise it when one sales in cartrack mentioned it and advise us to either take it off and re-install or cancel the former contract. when we tried to locate the car and take the unit off. We were told the new buyer of that car had signed, and put the unit under his or her name! hence we had no control over it.

Now that's a serious one. how can someone gain access to our unit and cartrack gave out consent to use our unit to someone without any prior notice nor consent. Esp. that we r still paying for it and have to pay a panelty fee for cancelling the contract; when in fact, someone it and we're still paying for it?

Now I wonder how valid is their tracking ability when they just randomly give someone's unit out for free and prohibit the 'former' owner to access it?

this morning I asked my assistant to find the account for my boss's former car; and the call centre promised to phone me. well, unsurprising, I never received any call since 9H00...
