It takes a lot for me to formerly complain about bad service, but enough is enough.
In December 2013 my wife and I decided to trade-in our vehicle on a new one. The "old" vehicle had a Cartrack unit in, mainly for insurance purposes, so I asked Cartrack to cancel the old unit and rather fit a new unit into our new vehicle while we were away and the vehicle was still at the dealership.
Needless to say, absolutely nothing was done by the salesman & when I tried chasing up in January, when we were back and had already taken delivery of our new vehicle, the attitude was awful. I decided to not use Cartrack for the new vehicle and found a better provider.
The problem with Cartrack continues though as now I'm struggling to get them to load the cancellation notice with effect of Dec 12 when I issued it and they've only set the cancellation notice as from 16 Jan when I finally got hold of someone to query the whole thing, which I had to contact head office as the Durbanville office either didn't answer the phone in the relevant department or didn't seem to care.
The service level from Cartrack is utterly atrocious, DO NOT USE THEM.
