Last week I tested my alarm. No signal received by the control room. Radio connection our only connection ot the control room. I was informed that a technician would be out only on Monday. I was nice and accepted their schedule was full.
On Monday Brandon Snell comes out tests the alarm and reports that the radio transmitter is faulty. He promises to install a new one by yesterday (being Thursday 7/2/13). During the afternoon I get a call from customer service asking me to rate his service and installation. I blew my top at this because he has not been back to my house yet. Carmen at the call center promised to follow up.
This morning I phone and they tell me that they can only come out on Monday!! Another weekend without coverage. In our area there have been multiple break-ins while people are in the house. I don't even have the panic button now.
Also Brandon told me that the call out is free, because it was not our error/problem, but an equipment failure. When I got home, there was a very unpretty pink invoice to the amount of nearly R500 waiting...
