I requested an alarm system upgrade in December2012. the sales guy (Yogan Naidoo) came to my home and sold me a unit for R3499.00. The installation was scheduled for the 24/12/12. Yogan did not give the installers proper instruction and i cancelled the installation. I managed to get hold of yogan on 3/01/2013. Was advised that i would have the funds in 14days. No funds revived to date. i wasted about R500 on calls to the accounts department and adt centurion (Jessica). I kept getting thrown back and fort and held on for 30mins at a time to speak to a manger only to have the call cut. Chantalle called me on the 29/01/2013 and told me i will revive the funds within 48 hours and acknowledged that they were at fault. this did not happen, as i am still waiting for my refund. i then made further calls to Jessica and was told that i would receive the funds today 01/02/2013. I pray that i do eventually get my money back, I feel that i should be compensated for my calls, time and stress that ADT gave me. The service is a huge disgrace to the internationally proud company who dont care for their clients. ADT would never be recommended to any friends or family.
