ABSA CANT LOCATE FUNDS PAID INTO THEIR ACCOUNT!

Requested settlement date for vehicle settlement on the 17/01/2013.
Paid settlement in full on the 18/01/2013.
After numerous phone calls and going into the branch to try and locate funds this matter is still not resolved.

ABSA gave me a wrong reference number, and now try to make it my fault. customers pay accounts with reference numbers supplied by their bank. SO WHERE HAS MY MONEY GONE TO???

it has now been 12 working days and still my funds paid into the account specified by ABSA cannot be located. Proof of payment along with settlement letter have been sent numerously with no prevail.

Is this how a world leading bank conducts business? the inablity to locate their clients funds?

after numberous phone calls, requesting to speak to management still no manager has bothered to pick up the phone and contact their client.

this is pathetic service, and due to lack of customer CARE and SERVICE probably have lost a client!!!
