CAR after no response from Cartrack

At first I didn't want to write this complaint, as it is too late for us now, but then decided to do it, even if it is just to prevent this from happening to someone else:

On 28 November 2012 we went to Cartrack Menlyn to enquire about an urgent installation. We spoke to Mauritz who provided us with great information. We stressed the urgency of the matter to him, and he assured us that installation can be done 2-3 days after the application forms were received. We then enquired whether installation can be done by a Durban branch, as we would be there during that time. Again he assured as that it wouldn't be a problem, and we just need to get the documents to him ASAP, and even gave us his business card.

We sent our application to him at around 16:30 that very same afternoon. After a week of no response from Mauritz or anyone from Cartrack, we completed the 'Call me back' form on the web, but alas, still no response. On 12 December 2012, exactly 2 weeks after we sent in our application forms, our car was, WITHOUT a Cartrack tracker installed!

A lady from Cartrack EVENTUALLY phoned to enquire about the installation on 22 January 2013. A lot of good it will do us now!
