I have been trying to cancel an ADT invoice for months and months. I was assured that someone would phone me back last month, and am still waiting. Now I receive an SMS stating they're going to deduct it via debit order. So I phoned. And was cut off. Phoned back, and requested an automatic dialback. Still waiting. Now I'm holding on, and have been doing so for 15 minutes so far...
This all dates back to a technician who came to my house ages ago to sort out a problem. His efforts achieved nothing, but ADT still billed me for R462.03. I refused to pay, and tried - for months - to get them to cancel it. In frustration, I switched to SSG. They solved my original problem within minutes.
I have NEVER been as frustrated with a company as much as I have with ADT admin. They don't call back, don't cancel invoices, just continue to send demanding letters and SMSs. A faceless organisation that takes and takes and never gives.
