MAXIDOR's tactless approach to making a sale

On Fri eve, we had a burglary in our home, while my toddler and I were asleep. It was only on Sat morn that we discovered we had been robbed. It was incredibly traumatic for all of us, especially knowing the fact that these strange - probably dangerous - men were in MY HOME while I was asleep with my child.
On Sun aft, the doorbell rang. Cue one "Craig" from Maxidor. Craig introduced himself and said that he was creating an awareness of his product; he then proceeds to hand my husband his leaflet, urging him to get a Maxidor. My husband says no thanks, upon which Craig responds with a tactless, thoughtless "Even after what happened on Friday? "
Subsequently, some alarm bells have started to ring.
How did Craig know that we had been burgled? Does he have an informant over at SAPS or at PG Glass (the ONLY two who were aware of our burglary)?
More importantly, how does MAXIDOR feel about having someone so thoughtless, representing their name?
Craig has, single-handedly, managed to cast MAXIDOR in a very, very bad light. We will be installing a gate inside our home, but you can be assured that it will NOT be through MAXIDOR.
The ball is now in your court MAXIDOR.
