Missing 7 months in logbook

I have been using the Matrix tracking unit in my car and a few years ago, I updated to take advantage of the advertised Logbook functionality. I am in the process of doing my taxes and visited the Mix Telematics website to locate my logbook. Before downloading it, I went through every item to determine whether it was business or personal travel. I noticed that there were 7missing months in my logbook. Upon checking with Mix Telematics, I found out that the unit was faulty for all those months and somehow they failed to pick this up. This is a feature that is well advertised and used as an attraction for the most expensive service accompanying the device. As things stand, I am missing more than half of my logbook and Matrix takes absolutely no responsibility. So, be warned that if you think you are paying for a service, it may occur that the service is not rendered or even available
